This guide gives you an overview of your options with the JCD integration. With this integration, you can use your data from JCD directly in Heyloyalty. In the first sections, you can read about suggested use cases, and afterwards you’ll find more detailed information about which data you can receive through the integration and how it’s delivered.
Setup options with the JCD integration
Examples of automations:
It makes sense to use your JCD data in automations. These are just examples of automations that can be set up:
- Welcome flow
- Updated profile details
- Has purchased
- Has booked
- Has booked more than X times within Y period
- Has booked more than X tickets in the same order
- Has booked an event, then added dining in a new order
- Has booked more than X times within Y period
- Has booked more than X tickets in the same order
There will likely be setups that would add value to your business that aren’t listed above. Of course, you can use the integration data to design all kinds of automations. If you have a good idea and don’t know where to start, you can reach out to our support team or our consultants for guidance or a quote for a setup.
Examples of segmentation options:
For campaigns and automations, you can segment on all the data that is retrieved from the integration. If you have added more fields for mapping yourself, these are of course also available.
- Booked a specific event
- Purchased specific product
- Booked on a specific date
- Booked for an aggregated total amount over Y period
- Has membership
- Has booked Online
- Has booked/purchased x tickets/products
- Has booked/purchased x tickets/products over Y period
- Has booked specific zone, seat, row, product
The above are just examples of segmentation and automations that can be built with the JCD integration.
In the following sections, you’ll get insight into exactly which data you can use for your automations and segmentation, and how it’s delivered to Heyloyalty.
Integration and field overview
Webshop – newsletter / mailing lists
It’s possible to set up integration with 2 lists – one list for newsletter sign-ups and one list (“the member list”) for synchronizing annual pass holders.
Newsletter sign-up happens the moment a customer signs up, using the data available at that time, and it is not synchronized again later.
The member list is continuously synchronized from JCD, approx. every 20 minutes, with new/updated data for active annual pass holders.
The field setup must be the same across both lists and supports the following fields:
Standard fields:
- firstname
- lastname
- mobile
- postalcode
- city
- country
- birthdate
Custom fields:
- “card expiration date” (date)
- “last entrance date” (date)
- “tags” (multi-select)
Tags vary depending on your needs and how you want to segment your annual pass holders. In Business Central, you set up a segment name for each card type, and in the webshop the segment names are linked with a “tag value” from the Heyloyalty list.
The custom fields are most relevant for the member list, but must be created the same way for both lists.
Contact JCD to learn more about settings and setup in your Business Central.
Webshop – tracking
If you add your Heyloyalty API key and tracking ID to the webshop, visitors will send events to Heyloyalty tracking once they have given consent.
JCD supports the following tracking events:
- visit
- addToBasket
- removeFromBasket
- purchasedBasket
“visit” is called from all pages that are visited.
Webshop – product feed
JCD provides an XML feed with the following product data, which can be set up under general integrations in Heyloyalty:
- item no. (“id”)
- item name (“title”)
- “price”
Business Central
The JCD integration in Business Central sends the following sales data to the HL tracking API (https://documentation.heyloyalty.com/tracking#tag/Create-order):
The following JSON data is sent for each order:
- “created_at”
- “order_number”
- “integration_id”
- “event_type” – always “bought”
- “email”
Along with a list of the following product data:
- “product_id”
- “amount” – quantity
- “original_price” – list price
- “product_price” – amount minus any discount
Data is only sent if it’s possible to find an email address for the customer.
Setup
To set up the integration, you need to contact JCD. They can guide you on how the integration is activated and what you can expect.
