Anti-spam policy
Below you will find our anti-spam policy. As a user of our platform, please read and understand our policy.
Heyloyalty Anti-Spam Policy
When sending email newsletters/campaigns via Heyloyalty, you must comply with our anti-spam policy, as described on this page.
Most countries have legislation dealing with digital communication via email, but this legislation is not uniform or consistent. In some countries, the legislation allows for communication that would violate our Anti-Spam Policy.
A company that sends communications via Heyloyalty must always follow the applicable marketing legislation for the countries to which the company sends communications. The company must always seek to act ethically and conduct good marketing practice.
We do not accept:
- Email deliveries to recipients who have not consented to receive communications from the company.
- Email deliveries to recipients that has been purchased or rented from third parties.
- Email deliveries to recipients who have not been in contact with the sender/company for more than two years.
- Email deliveries to recipients who have unsubscribed more than seven days ago.
- Email deliveries with content that is not honest and understandable.
About consent
According to Heyloyalty, spam is defined as sending digital communication to recipients who have not given their consent.
Therefore, a company must have obtained consent from the recipient before the company sends newsletters and campaigns, and the recipient must be informed that the consent has been given. Consent cannot be given on behalf of others, but must be given directly by the recipient to the company. The company may not send digital communication to recipients that the company has borrowed, rented or bought.
A consent has a lifetime of 1 year. If the company has not sent digital communication to the recipient for one year, it is assumed that the recipient has most likely forgotten that their consent has been given, which may result in complaints.
A consent can always be withdrawn by the recipient by clicking on an unsubscribe link in emails sent via Heyloyalty. The company must therefore always provide an unsubscribe link to the recipient in their emails. Exempted from this rule are transactional emails, e.g. order confirmations, receipts, “forgotten password” emails and the like.
About content and wording
All communication sent via Heyloyalty must be honest and understandable. Promising the recipient something, e.g. via the subject field, which is not honored in the content, gives dissatisfied recipients and more complaints. The company must therefore not send untrue or contradictory content.
It is a requirement that the physical address of the sender appears in emails sent via Heyloyalty.
Consequences of violating the anti-spam policy
If our anti-spam policy is violated, we reserve the right to close the account without notice and without refunding any amounts already paid. Any unbilled usage will be calculated and invoiced upon termination.
